Business Outing: A Unique Experience in Promoting Local Tourism in Madagascar

Hello everyone ☺️

I am thrilled and honored to share with you something that truly matters to me: Business Outing. This concept, which I created back in 2020, aims to promote local tourism in Madagascar with a unique twist. Unlike regular trips, our outings have a specific added value – a learning component. Our motto is "travel and network," and it has guided us through four successful trips, each better than the last. I'm incredibly proud of the evolution and growth we've achieved.

This year's edition was particularly special. We called it the Family Business Camp and tailored activities to suit every family member. The focus was on learning, bonding, and having fun together, creating lasting memories and valuable experiences.

Day 1: Music, Soap Making, and Digital Opportunities

We kicked off the first day

with a session of music therapy led by Kevin Mirija, a psychologist and professional musician. This was a unique and relaxing start, setting a positive tone for the rest of the trip. Following this, Tatie Jo conducted a workshop on soap making, providing participants with a hands-on, creative experience.

Throughout the day, various games like UNO and Scrabble kept everyone entertained, while kids enjoyed swimming, singing, and playing musical instruments. The atmosphere was vibrant and filled with joy.

Dinner time on the first day was special. As we dined, I led a workshop on online jobs, opportunities, and digital business. This session was aimed at empowering participants with knowledge about the digital world, opening up new possibilities for everyone involved

Day 2: Workshops and Fun at Farmily

On the second day, we headed to Farmily for a delightful picnic. The day began with an English workshop led by my mom and me, engaging participants in fun and educational activities. While some people fished and sang, others enjoyed drawing. I took the kids to the vegetable garden, showing them different vegetables and letting them collect and eat physalis. Their excitement was palpable, making this a highlight of the trip.

During lunch, Kevin Mirija conducted a workshop on parenting. This session was highly interactive, with many questions and discussions, highlighting the importance of effective parenting in today's world.

We spent the rest of the afternoon playing, singing, and simply enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Farmily. The sense of community and togetherness was evident as everyone bonded over shared experiences.

In the evening, we returned to Garden Holiday. The night ended with a campfire where we sang, played musical instruments, and enjoyed a private VIP stand-up comedy performance by Raytra Belaw'yck. The laughter and entertainment provided a perfect end to a fantastic day.

Day 3: Photography Workshop and Farewell

The last morning was just as enriching. Kael, our photographer and videographer, conducted a workshop on how to take great pictures with a phone. This session was incredibly useful, as it equipped participants with practical skills to capture beautiful moments.

After this final workshop, it was time to head back home.

Throughout the weekend , we enjoyed delicious food prepared by Tatie Jo, adding a delightful culinary experience to our journey.

Reflections and Future Plans

This wonderful long weekend was full of positive vibes, learning, and fun. Each activity was designed to offer something valuable, whether it was a new skill, a memorable experience, or simply a moment of joy.

Looking back, I am proud of how far we've come with Business Outing . Each trip has been an opportunity to innovate and improve, and this year's Family Business Camp showed our commitment to promoting local tourism while providing enriching experiences.

As we plan for future outings, we remain dedicated to our motto – travel and network. We look forward to more adventures, more learning, and more memories with Business Outing. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Let me know if you want to join us in our next trip ☺️
